So I do see children. I think chiropractic care is a great conservative option for kids as with adults. I think it’s a good option for a lot of different people. But like I’ve said in the past, I think it needs to be an appropriate option. Now, obviously, for a lot of young children, kids don’t have disc disease and degeneration, and arthritis. But what they do have, they have sprains and strains, and hopefully, they’re very active. So they’re playing sports. They’re carrying backpacks. They’re sitting for extended periods throughout the day. So, believe it or not, there’s a lot of trauma on their spines
So that’s why when I talk to parents, talk to you about treating your kids, we want to be preventative. We want to manage kids and make sure things are functioning properly, make sure they have good mobility in the thoracic spine or wherever it may be, and the hope there is to prevent injuries. Like I said, one of the things with kids, they have time on their side, but they’re active. We want them to be active and jumping and bounding and doing those things, and it can be tough on their spine. So, I do treat kids. I think chiropractics is a really good option for a lot of children.
